Virthos Basic
Virthos Basic is Virthos’ entry-level platform and is aimed at providing smaller websites with interactive functions and content management. Virthos Basic does not require a supporting mySQL database, and can be installed on any web server that supports PHP 4.
With Virthos Basic, you can enhance your site with elements that would otherwise be available only with PHP or Perl programming, such as:
• Guest books
• Registration forms
• Discussion forums
• Order forms
• Contact forms
• Newsletter subscription processing
• Search functions
You can also give designated users the ability to make editorial changes. As a result, you can easily manage
• Picture galleries
• News pages
• Download pages
• Calendars of events
• Product catalogs
• Customer lists, etc.
...all without a line of PHP code. and you still keep complete control over the appearance of your pages. You can use all the capabilities of your design tools and do not need to make your pages conform to a standard website structure.
